Re: Working up new load
Anymore CFE 223 is about all I shoot in my 204's. You will be happy with it. Very nice group there with that load in your rifle. Bill K

Re: Working up new load
As I said all I use is CFE 223, 99 % of the time with the 32 grain lead free nosler. Works very well in my 204R and some other 20 caliber rifles, except the 20 SSC which is loaded with AA2200.

Re: Working up new load
I still load some with CFE223, buddy had me try some 10X. My average group size shrank a bit, not a drastic amount but measurable. I am stuck in between the two. I like the CFE, but seems some have carbon issues with 10X.

Re: Working up new load
If you get improved accuracy and that is what you are after and want, then why worry about some carbon or soot ? Just run a damp patch in between some shots and clean the bore good after you are done, for the day.
