Kilt a whitetail buck on the ranch this year. I was wanting a muley bigger than what I have. Seen this guy in the trees on the crick. He never gave me a good look, but I saw mass.... He stopped with only a small view of his midsection visible in the fork of a cottonwood. I could see tail on one side and nose/antler front on the other. So I threaded the needle and spined him, DRT... Kinda funky, forked horns but heavy.
No lifting/dragging required...
getting ready to euro.
rifle is Kimber Montana in 260 rem, 120 BT's......

Hybrid?
Lots of mass....but that looks like a whitetail rack.

I don't think hybrid. Cape, ears, tail and tarsals all say whitetail. But he do have funky, forked muley-like horns.....
