Quick Saturday Cull

Myself, G-Force, my dad, my girlfriend and another friend had to go sort out a couple of excess blesbuck rams and warthogs on a friend's property.

Lila was up first with her .204, and managed to deliver excellent high neck shots angling into the brains of these two rams.
First one at 176m, and the second at 183m



My dad was up next and shot this youngish ram at about 150m, also with the .204
Willem also shot one with his .222, but we didn't take a pic.



Lila was asking me the whole year to kill a pig, so we took her to a spot at the lodge where the pigs destroy the lawns.
She shot this boar at 91m, frontal brain shot, with the 6mm Dasher.


While the skinner was busy, G-Force and I shot these 2 blesbuck. Calibres and distances are on the pics.
Mine was hit low in the chest, clipping the bottom of the heart, and Gé hit his behind the head.



We then killed 2 more pigs, but didn't take any pics.

The .204's been given to my girlfriend. I Switched to the 6mm Dasher (flavour of the month thing I suppose...)

Went out last night and killed 3 jackal.

117 since January.

Thanks for the story and the excellent photos. It must be nice to have such a place to do some cull shooting.
