Found a good price on .204R 40gr VMAX ammunition...

Fin Fur and Feather Outfitters (stores in northern Ohio) is having a sale on .204 40gr vmax ammunition. $24.99 for a box of 50! On sale through 7/31. I picked up a few boxes today and they had a bit left. I've never seen it that cheap so I wanted to share in case any of you are in need and live close. They have a website but I don't think they ship.

*edit* they are on sale again. this time for $22.99 for 50. i paid almost that much for a box of 20 a few months ago.

That's much better than my great deal. I found it locally for $30/box of 50 and thought it was such a steal that I got 4 boxes.

Even on sale ammo is ridiculously expensive......makes me quite happy that I reload.

yeah, i plan to reload too, but i priced it out and buying the cases, primer, powder, and bullets to make my first batch would have been more expensive than the factory ammo.

so i'm planning to keep these cases and reload them. hornady cases seem to be more expensive than winchester so i'm hoping they will last a while.
