Around the first of Oct. my youngest daughter and i set out to try and call in a coyote . She had been wanting to go probably do to the fact that she wanted to play with the bark-o-lounger . She was up bright and early and ready to go in a matter of minutes. First stand we set up at I started off with cotton in dist. and switched up to pup in dist. With in seconds of pup in dist this female came charging in and didnt get the chance to leave.
Just to clarify we had our earplugs in wouldnt want that pretty little girl to have hearing trouble.
We had time for one more stand before church.
Stand 2 not even 30 seconds or so signing cotton in dist and a big ole male came charging in didnt give him a chance as he busted us less than twenty yard from us.
It was time to get back home and get ready but i had to have a picture of us together since this was her second time out calln so i ran over to songdogs house to get a pic . This has been the greatest calln trip as of to date.
She has already added camo to her christmas list.
(edit) I forgot to add i was shooting my cz 527 with 39sbks.

Re: A Hunt To Rember
Now there is a hunt you'll remember! Congratulations on two "quick" coyotes. They have some nice looking fur on them.
Enjoy it while you have it, because things will change.

Now that's the stuff that makes the world go around. You'll remember it but I would bet she will have an even more vivid memory of it. Those yotes look a little fluffier than most of them around here. Keep up the good work and get that girl some camo......and a 204.

You are so correct.. Those will and are days to remember. All my kids are grown now, youngest is 48, but I still remember those days of hunting and shooting.. You will surely also. Enjoy each and every day, they pass so fast. Bill K
