Ouch! best wishes with your recovery! and also best wishes getting that trophy----not many people will ever get the chance to get a crack at that kind of trophy

Re: 32 v-max for coyotes
Thanks Ryutzy. Broke my first bone at 32 and now a second at 64, so I hope I can make it to 96 before it happens again. It will be a while before I'm mobile enough to get back to the coyotes, but I'll keep my eye on them.

Re: 32 v-max for coyotes
I hope You heal up fast DoubleUp....I'm sure the Coyotes are praying You get well soon too!
Re: 32 v-max for coyotes
GTOHunter, thanks and I've made somre progress in a week. Will see the Doc on the 20th and maybe I can do something besides be mostly bedridden. Come to think of it, that last pic with the 3 coyotes has one seeming to assume a prayer position, but not likely that my good health was high on his list.
Re: 32 v-max for coyotes
Just an update! As you can see the one with the tracking collar is still coming to the bait. Maybe I'll be recovered enough shortly to take care of business with him.

Re: 32 v-max for coyotes
DoubleUp,
Have you thought about shooting the collared coyote and attaching the collar to a cross country running semi truck? That would stump the DOC about how far a coyote would migrate!

Enjoy it while you have it, because things will change.

That's a great idea. Dont know if those collars operate by satellite or not, but if they do I think it's be great to ship it to Alaska or overseas. LOL

Re: 32 v-max for coyotes
I have had great success with the 32gr Vmax the price is right. The accuracy is good and the coyote drop on the spot. Great pictures thanks for posting.

They say all things come to he who waits.
Once again the 32 v-max did it's job. He never took a step after the bullet hit him.

Good Job! Kinda looks like some one's pet with the collar on. I am waiting for deer season to end. To start hunting here in So Cal.

Re: 32 v-max for coyotes
very nice u should really get that one mouted and was that with the 32vmax.
Re: 32 v-max for coyotes
yes, 32 v-max over 26.9g of A2230 at 3,950fps. It just devastates them when hit in the heart /lungs, but I take care to stay away from shoulder shots with it.

Re: 32 v-max for coyotes
Congrats!!!! I'm glad that you got him. Is there any info on that collar? If you mount it u should leave the collar on. Lol. Hope I can shoot one with a collar sometime and whoever put the Collar on comes looking for it.
