OAL for a TC Encore?
I'm curious if anyone here has an Encore like me, and have actually used a gauge in their chamber? I'll probably have to get a gauge myself as I'm getting into some regular egg shoots and some precision shoots. I'd like to load some 39 or 40 gr so they're just touching the lands. I'm using 32gr Vmax at the moment but my club is expanding the range from 200 to 350 yards so I want to go a little heavier.

With the barrel removed from the action, seat a bulllet long and chamber it,seating slightly deeper until the rim is flush, then measure OAL or that bullet combo.

Hi,I shoot an encore .204 15 inch and so far my best groups are .0010 off lands you will need the gauge to measure its not to pricey,I'm getting dime sized groups 5 shoots at 100 yards I don't think I can shoot as good as the gun will.I've tryed closer to lands but group opened up.

I have a 15" .308 barrel for it. I think I loaded them too hot for it last time I took it out.
