First Chuck, EVER
Sorry guys, no pictures. My eight year old got his first rock chuck this last Sunday. First shot was about 55 yards (miss), 4th shot at 70 yards got him good. I was proud (of course) how he took his time with each shot, I know he was feeling a little more pressure after each miss. This was his first kill! He started shooting targets and cans when he was five, 15-30 yards with a Mini Henry. For Christmas he got a Savage Model 12 GLY, we cut it down 1.5" and he paid for the Simmons scope. He has been shooting clay pigeons (stationary) at 50 yards for a few weeks now. His six year old brother is no slouch with the Henry right now either! Even though I'm not a picture taker, I sure intended to. Found the camera but it needed a battery. Mom was not home so we were screwed, could not find one. Anyway, thanks for letting a proud Dad brag about his boys!!!

Ramos: Congratulations! What a grand feeling, eh? He'll most likely remember that moment for the rest of his life. Well done. You too dad.

Congrats Ramos!! It is truly an AWESOME feeling when your kids enjoy doing the same things you do. I have a 5 year old boy myself and have been trying to take him out as much as possible. He truly enjoys it.
