A couple off of the ole "meatsickle"
Took these scruffy ones off of the 'Meatsickle" from the back of the deck. Both shot at about 260 yds out with the Savage BTVSS 204 using 39 gr BK's.

Enjoy it while you have it, because things will change.

I do get the occasional "splash" but they do work pretty good and they fly like lasers.Melvin Eades wrote:Hey Gube, those Sierra 39's work, don't they?

Very Nice!! I really need to post some of my pics from my meatsickle. I will when I get time.
It's hard to detect good luck, It looks so much like something you've worked hard for and earned.

Re: A couple off of the ole "meatsickle"
Nice shooting.
I know it's probably is the camera angle but the coyote in the bottom picture sure has a funny looking muzzle. It sure is a coyote, but look at the broadness non tapering of the muzzle. Also I see a broader rounded nose and lower jaw. The crown of its head and even the eyes.
Was the bottom coyote in the picture a male? It is defiantly a coyote, but to me it sure has a strange head? Looks like one I shot several years ago. It was a male but sure had a strange head. On that set, three males came in during mating season. The one I'm talking about weighed about 15 pounds heavier that the other two. cause I shot all three. Always raised a question in my mind that mother nature was playing tricks.
Like I said, its probably the camera angle?
