Re: brass tumbling film
Some Walnut media will leave a lot of dust inside and outside of the case. After polishing my brass with W.M. I dump the media into a storage bucket and refill the polisher with corncob media sans polish for the final cleaning. YMMV

Re: brass tumbling film
I use lyman crushed walnut as well, my solution, wash your brass in hot soapy water and let air dry for a few days. Then work your cases as usuall. Works for me. I have founf the walnut does a much better job of actaully putting a shine back on my cases.

Hate that red rouge film in the headstamp and extractor groove. I use this stuff, it doesn't leave any film. http://www.sinclairintl.com/product/819 ... -Additives
Or this stuff http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?p ... ber=541305 which works well.
