I was doing my usual internet wandering yesterday, and happened to land on the savage website. I saw that they sell their actions, and I am now strongly considering building my next gun off of a savage action. I really like the way they are set up and what not. The one thing I am completely lost on though, is how I would find a stock for something like that! I know my barrel choice would come into play, but aside from that how would I find a stock for this? Is it just the same as everything else?

Be careful if you call Jim at Northlander. He'll talk the ears off your head 
He's a great guy, though, and very prompt at filling orders, unlike some other places. He sold me the barrel on my Savage currently, it's been a good one, too.
