35 gr berger update......
Well, last year I started loading berger 35 grainers and yesterday I shot my 16th coyote and NONE of them ran more than 40 yrds. Most DRT's.. Where I am, many of these coyotes are up in the mid to upper 40 lbs.. Anyone looking for a great coyote round, this one is no joke.. Much better than the factory 40 vmax I was using before.. I'm so impressed, I just figured I'd post this.. good luck out there..

Hi bucksnort06,
What sort of accuracy are you getting from the 35gr bullets. Thanks KB.

I can't speak for bucksnort06's groups with the 35 gr. FBHP Bergers, but my Savage 12VLP likes those bullets just fine.

Silverfox, can't fault those groups. Have you used them on foxes or 'yotes? If so, do they go right through. Thanks,KB.

Re: 35 gr berger update......
Myself, I have had great luck with using the 35 Berger for fur hunting. Most shots I've had on animals(30yrds-250yrds) have passed thru, but with little damage to the hide. I tried using some of the polymer tipped bullets on fox and coyotes with lots of damage to the fur or worse losing the animal because of a splash wound. As soon as I started loading 35gr HP Bergers out the tube my .204, it started giving me best of both worlds, a Hard Hitting Fur load that wont tear fox in half and yet drops coyotes like lighting him em!
And just to add on another note it wasn't to hard to find an accerate load with the 35 Bergers either! With a Max load of H-4895 it will print .30" 3-shot groups with ease at 100yrds, and is smoking along at around 3,900fps from a 24" barrel to boot!
The almighty 204! The best caliber, and funest caliber I had ever had!

Re: 35 gr berger update......
I just picked me up some 35 Bergers to try out in my CZ. It loves 39's but a lot of folks recommend Bergers so I'm going to give them a try. I use H4895 & Reloader 15 for the most part.
