Load data for the 34gr Midsouth Varmint Nightmare

Post by T/Cn204 »

I have just started loading for my 204. I'm loading some 32 gr, v-max with H322 powder. I have bought some of the Midsouth 34gr. Varmint Nightmare can I use the same load for both bullits. My loads are starting at 25.5 gr. of H322 and going up to 27.5 gr. Is this a good Powder or is there something better. I'm shooting these through my T/C contender carbine with a 23" Barrel. Right now my goal is to get a good 5 shot group on paper. :D

Look at the top of the page under 204 load data. Hodgen has data for the 35 Berger. That would be the safest place to start. They list 26.3 as max for H-322 and the 35.
