I've been waiting for this for 18 months and it arrives the week before my Mum , sister and family arrive from Ireland for a 3 week visit so I wont be able to shoot it !
Varminting here consists of walking the rabbit warrens, flopping down when you see a likely spot and after a shot or two move position, so firing prone made me want a stock designed for the purpose, McMillan A5. It's got a no 9 profile krieger 1 in 10 twist finished at 26inches, its a thick tube. Stiller predator and rifle basix ERV. All duracoated so as not to have shiny reflections!
trevort..........Nice looking piece. Good luck!! Sure hope you enjoy your A-5 Mcmilllan stock. I love mine and sure was worth the wait.
There is a pic of mine in centerfire section of this site.
Enjoy and have fun.

wow trevort im currently waiting on a McMillan A-5 (ableit in urban camo) for my 204 remington xr100 once i get all the pieces together im gonna send them off to the gunsmith for assembly. still kicking around what specs i want for a barrel
This is my lefty savage with the ultimate varminter stock. Atop sets a Nightforce 8-32 with the NP-R2 recticle. 25.7 grains of Benchmark and .39g Bliztkings and the prarie poodles don't stand a chance.
My Kimber Varmint .204. Pics not to good sorry. I had a top gunsmith go over it before I'd even fired this gun; lightened trigger, better bedding/floating etc. and really can't complain about anything...apart from not having enough shooting time! The suppressor cuts the sound to at least half, and adds little weight, although I use a bi-pod when out there. Tends to get heavy if walking too far with the bipod, I don't have the luxury of sitting at a bench and picking off targets like some of you fellas!! Scope is a Fullfield11 4.5-14x42. [img]
Here's my 204. Ordered it back in April, just got it in October. It's a Cooper Varmint Extreme with fluted barrel and a Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20 x 50 with Rapid Z varmint reticle.
I just reloaded my first set of .204 rounds and plan to take it to the range next weekend.
Thats not the biggest chuck I've seen on this forum but it sure looks like the fattest. ( not sure if that really makes any sense)
Did you stuff a high pressure air line in that hog and if so how many PSI before it leaked?
thompson center prohunter and a new to me cz varmint. the prohunter likes the barnes 26 gr varmint gernades and the cz i will be doing some load testing this weekend.
