Hi foxwhistler.

I do quite a bit of my target shooting in Wales, mostly down Caldicot way on an old MOD range and occasionally near your neck of the woods on another MOD range in Sennybridge, Brecon.

Wales is fantastic for shoots, really cool rugged countryside and views to die for!!! ;)

All the best

iKonic Status,You`re right about the countryside down here, though sometimes i think we take it for granted a bit when we see it all the time :!:
Just one question on the target shooting.I seem to remember reading somewhere that all the M.O.D ranges have a maximum f.p.s rule, which would rule out using a .204!Is this actually true or is my old brain playing tricks on me :?:

...too be honest i'm not sure.

I do know that some of the ranges (G & J ranges) up at Sennybridge do have restrictions on Caliber size E.g .50 Cal, yet other ranges (like the 1000 yard F range) do allow big stuff - like .338 Lapua Magnum, but I don't honestly know about f.p.s. exclusions???

The majority of my shooting is done with the .308 / 7.62mm Mil Surp, .223 rem, .303, 8mm Mauser etc. :spin:

I will ask for you the next time I travel up to Sennybridge, as I too would LOVE to get my greasy hands on a .204 ruger and take it up to Sennybridge!!!
A Sako 75 VLSS .204 OR Howa/Houge SS HB .204.....oh either of those would be SWEET!!!!
