Federal 205's

Hey All,
I took a liking to the federal 205's in my 204 and I'm just about out...and it seems that there's none to be had anywhere. Midway and Natchez are out, no backordering, and my local shop told me that federal told them they most likely wouldn't see the 205's until '08. All they had were the 210M's (for my 22-250) and he only had 2000. He told me that they were probably the only store within 100 miles that had those. Whats the deal? Is it shortages or did federal drop the ball? Looks like I'll be going back to CCI for a while , they worked good too...

I can't find 205s anywhere I think someone said that they were using them in the military If someone finds any let us know. I need some for the postal shoot.

You will probably not find any small rifle Federal primers anywhere.

Yes, all taken for military applications.

I heard someplace that the military ordered 5 Billion rounds, and Federal was supplying the primers (as part of ATK, who operates Lake City, and owns RCBS, Speer, CCI, etc.) It's a tremendous order.

Anybody know if Cabelas has them in their store? I'm going through boise in the next couple of days, just wondering.

I have 2 cases of Fed 205 at the Graf's Retail in St. Charles MO. I also have a case of Fed 205M but the mail order location has none. Does not help because I can not ship.
