prd, Here is a short how to...... I removed the barreled action, cleaned with mineral spirits followed by alcohol. Dried and masked off the swivels, pad and inletting. Shot a couple coats of krylon, then the webbing, then the clearcoats. Dried between each. I pulled the masking before the last clearcoat was dry. As Chef Tell would say......So berry, berry simpull, so berry, berry ee-cee. Here are the pics from another forum. You can scroll down to see or read it all. Don

Rick: Nice rifle and camo as well and thanks for sharing! What material is wrapped around the end of your barrel, where do you get it, and does it degrade accuracy any? I'll be painting my stock and bipod only so I'll be needing some of that and I will have some good camo on as well. I will be going for a style doube-A has with a little lighter color as it will fit in best with where I'll be hunting. What do you mean by "not treated"? Will post pics when finished as I just got the rifle out of the shop today with a 2 lb trigger pull and a new firing pin.
P.S. A .308 is never overkill for rats, especially at 600 yards!
double A: Great lookin paint job! Thanks for sharing.

Chef Tell ! I haven't heard that name in ages. Isn't he the one that used to get pretty well sloshed during the show and eventually had to go to "spin-dry" ? Seems to me he's doing some other sort of gig now.

Please excuse the interuption. Now back on track. Here's a photo of a gun case I made for my T/C Contender pistol. I used leaves and grass, etc. from my backyard as stencils.
