What do you guys fine when sizing your brass, what do you use, full length, or kneck sizing? What do you guys find best in your .204's or is it much of a muchness?
Pros and cons of both?
Just wondering what way to go myself.
Cheers guys
Ive got standard Forster dies with the full length sizer and the competition seating die. I use the F/L die to bump the shoulder when it needs it and Lee collet size case necks in between. It's personal preference really.
Some shoooters like bushing dies to control the amount of sizing done to the neck and the advantage of no expander plug being dragged through the case neck. I like the collet die because my neck runout is very low when I use it compared to the F/L die. The Lee is cheap insurance to insure good runout and it's easy on the brass.
I second GaCop's recommendation. Surprisingly, though, the little seater that comes with the Lee die does a more consistent job in seating than my micrometer seater. Go figger

definately neck size and only FL size when needed this = better brass life and accuracy. As to the particular type of dies is personal preference for varying reasons. My preference is Redding Bushing Neck sizing dies. If I didn't use Redding then I'd use the Lee collet die.
It's hard to detect good luck, It looks so much like something you've worked hard for and earned.

I neck size only with a Lee collet neck die and bump the shoulder when it's needed with a Redding body die. That tightened my groups noticeably over when I used to do FLS sizing.
Lee collet neck, and bump with a redding body (or a FL die) when I notice any resistance chambering a round, which was after 6 firinings in my savage VLP.
