First and foremost, thanks for getting me hooked on this hot little round. Have been having a lot of fun with it.

Secondly, thanks to the advice of many as I've read through the forum re: load development.

I started to take the "ladder approach" and was able to hit some loads that gave me results I've never achieved before with reloads.

I was able to get both my .223 and my .204 to group 5 shots in a 3's which for me is outstanding.

For my .223 it happened on the 5th and hottest round and for my .204 is happened right in the middle on my 3rd round.

It was amazing to see the groupings spray, then tighten up and then just hit the same spot over and over as I went through my "ladder".

Don't know why I didn't try it earlier but I do appreciate all the advice I read on the forum here and I wanted to thank you all for taking the time to share it. Definitely made my Father's day a great one. :D

Lots of good, free info here. Regarding your test(s) ultimately you'll want to group test your load. For me to accept a load it must pass the 5-shot load test 3-times "and" be repeatable with a "+" and "-" 0.1 load varation. I do this because I've yet to find a powder measure that will throw a perfect load 100% of the time. It can be frustrating (still beats pulling weeds or hoeing the garden) but it does pay off.
