Hi,
I know this is not exactly 204ish,but, a friend of mine gets excited by old rolling block rifles (5 @ the moment) and wants to know where he can get scopes. I'm sure some members have period scopes (poss. bought new if you're as old as me) and wondered if anyone specializes in them, or knows the best places to look for them. Thanks,Ken.

No problem Ken, contact Steve at Meachem Rifles, Inc. He builds and restores period high walls, low walls, rolling blocks, etc., and has good access to the period scopes your friend is looking for.
I've shot prairie dogs with Steve in Montana, and can say he's "one of us" in all regards, and is a true gentleman rifleman. HTH
