I have been wondering for some time why you guys call prarie dogs skippy?

You can read the whole story in an upcoming issue of The Varmint Hunter Magazine, in an article titled "Small Caliber Fun with Skippy". That's all I'll say, but it's been in use here on the net since the incident mentioned in the article from about 1998 or thereabouts.
