HSM .204 ammo

I was thinking about try some of the HSM 32 gr v-max out of my .204 ruger ultra light. So i was wondering if any of you guys shoot or have shot HSM ammo out of your .204 or any gun for that matter? What do you think of it, and is it accurate out of the .204? Any info is appreciated, Thanks

Oh and do you think they'll shoot about the same as the 32 GR hornady's. Thanks guys

When I first got my .204 Savage several years ago, there were only three brands of ammo on the market..... Hornady, Remington, and the HSM that Cabelas was selling as bulk ammo... I bought 200 rounds of each (price was much cheaper then).....

All of mine was 39 & 40gr, so I won't be much help with the 32gr... but for what it's worth,,, the HSM shot the worst of the three.... Hornady was #1, the Remington almost as good, and I still have well over 100 rounds of the HSM that I shoot once in a while just to get the brass for reloading, when I think to dig it out...

You will find that, especially with the .204 Ruger caliber, different barrels like different ammo...yours may love the stuff...neither of my rifles like the lighter weight bullets for some reason..

I use the HSM .204 ammo in my Remington 700 and it shoots M.O.S. (Minute Of Squirrel) all day long. Gary

Are you shooting the HSM 32's captqc? Well guys my gun seems to like the 32 GR hornady's better then the 40 and the 39 grain seirra's. I wonder if i tryed the HSM 40's, that my gun might like them better then the hornady 40's. Thanks

Yup, 32's, My remington loves the 32's. Shoots 40 okay but 32's are great! Gary
