Any non frangible bullets for the 204?

Post by TD-Max »

I have this notion of using my 204 for a purpose that it's really not "correct" for. I haven't seen anything available that doesn't blow up on. Maybe the Bergers?

Although I haven't run the 45 Hornady, the best non-frangible bullets I've used in the .204 has been the 35 or 40 Bergers. They will not splash. Sometimes they won't exit but myself and a lot of buds have never had one splash, even on shoulder hits.

Not that I'd shoot a deer in the shoulder with one...

Thanks I'll check it out. I think I have some 35gr Bergers here.
