Millet Scopes
I received a Millet scope as a gift it is a 5x25x56AO 30mm tube this thing is huge it weighs 30 onces I just ordered extra high rings for my Ruger Target gray. Any body have experience with such a large scope? It makes my Simons 6x20x50AO look sleek.

Yes, keep it on low recoil calibers!
I run 6-24x56 on several of my varmint rings with GOOD rings.
Yes, you can step up to the $100 to $200 set of rings to keep the scope attached, but you are transferring all of the recoil energy to the internals of the scope.
