Interesting news, DPMS was just aquired by Cerberus

Post by glenn asher »

Cerberus, the outfit that owns Bushmaster and Remington (and Chrysler, and untold other large companies and even airlines and rental car companies) just bought DPMS, too. SO, if anyone was wondering whether or not DPMS will be offering a .204 in the AR platform, I'd think it will be a given, IN TIME. Maybe not this year, but probably sometime soon. I'm also told they have their eye on Olympic Arms, too, but this might not be solid information. It sounds like they are AFTER that market pretty hard.
Just thought the information was topical and interesting................

When I first started looking at AR's DPMS was offering a AR in .204. This was a year ago or more. I ended up getting 2 .204's custom made from Dtech. One complete and one just the upper. DPMS is the same as Panther Arms.
