toasty: Just for the record, Leupold does no longer manufacture binoculars, nor will they or can they replace the Switch-Power models, as none are available to replace. I have a pair of the 7-12X's, and my good shooting buddy at the factory told me to take good care of them, as if they get boogered up, there's no spare parts or replacement program for them.

I'd imagine the factory would work it out the best they could to the customers satisfaction, but it would not be with a repaired or replaced set of Switch-Power bino's. Sorry to be the bearer of this tidbit.
