Squirrels Gettin Fat!
Well yesterday and today, I dusted off the old Marlin .22mag and cleaned house of the squirrels that have been raiding my pigeon lofts of the food I put in there for the birds. Yep, I put a bakers dozen into the "promise land of varmints". Most of the shots are in the 60 to 75 yard range using a Winchester factory 40 grn. bullet. It doesn't blow em to pieces like the 32 grn HP but it sure kills em deader than a door nail. In a years time, those critters will eat me out of over $250 bucks worth of corn, wheat, sunflower seeds and milo.
