Re: 2018 Going Postal 5 Shot Challenge
I'm still waiting for the last targets to show up here. I made 2 trips to the PO Box today, just in case. The suspense is killing me. I bet it's killing you, too?? Have patients, it'll all be over soon. There's one target that is going to be really hard to beat.
Hold 'em & Squeeze 'em
Re: 2018 Going Postal 5 Shot Challenge
so i am super disappointed to announce that the target that i mailed on friday was officially returned to me today... probably the best 5 shot group that i have ever tweaked out of my gun, and it gets returned to me a day after the challenge ends...

Re: 2018 Going Postal 5 Shot Challenge
I would at least like to show everyone here how I did bc i am sooo proud of this group that i put on paper, but i have no idea how to post a photo....

Send me a copy via email, I will see if I can not get it to show. If not someone else will I am sure. Kbill1@frontiernet.net Bill K
Re: 2018 Going Postal 5 Shot Challenge
Thank you bill, email has been sent. I only took 3 attempts at it, this group being my 3rd try. The other 2 werent much worse, nothing to complain about for sure, but the 3rd one i think could have been a contender. At least I now know not to wait til the last minute and not to ever trust the post office in my town, i will go to another zip code to mail things in the future, this isnt the first time this post office has let me down unfortunately...

By the way Bee, that would be a mighty fine one and be right up there, I believe. Bill K
Re: 2018 Going Postal 5 Shot Challenge
Thank you. It always seems to be something for me, last year I didnt get to put a shot on paper bc i ended up working out of state for the entire month after i recieved my target, and this year i only got one range session in and my target gets return to sender'd. Hoping for a miracle to happen for next year lol

Re: 2018 Going Postal 5 Shot Challenge
Why not score that target, showing group size, etc. and send a photo of that for posting, for a show and comparison down the line ? Bill K
Re: 2018 Going Postal 5 Shot Challenge
I would, if i knew how that was done haha. I can look into how to score it and whatnot. Basically i reload my own cartridges, hang the target, hit it with the rangefinder, and make it go bang. That is about as much as i know about it. Do you just measure center to center on the farthest spread in the group or? I can get the calipers after it when i get home from work tonight if that is all I need to do...

Re: 2018 Going Postal 5 Shot Challenge
FIrst read Skippers notations on how and what to score on the targets, for this fun shoot. I measure outside edge to edge. I believe some measure center of hole to center of the opposite side. At least you can have a measurement for us to see, even if it is a rough one. Bill K ( when you get one marked, send that to me and I will post it up)
Re: 2018 Going Postal 5 Shot Challenge
Ok I will get one both ways, center to center, and outside edge to outside edge when i get off work. I should be home in the next 2hrs or so. I've already been here 12hrs so it shouldn't be too long.
