Hard to say...
Gotta' remember, the 223 is a military round and as such, a lot of development goes into it especially in the target shooting world. also, there are some 90 grain 223 cal bullets out there with very high BC's as well as the 6.5 twist barrels need to propel them. This is an added benefit to other 22 cals, such as, the 22-250, 220 Swift, 223 WSSM and a host of others.
