My Kimber Pro Varmint is a 1/12 twist and my initial loads with the 39 Sierra Blitz Kings looks very promising. Shot dispersion should come down quite a bit since my runouts with these loads was the worst I have ever had - some of the runouts were .10 or worse, and the necks were noticible crooked! (I have since discovered the reason why, it was my die setup).

I am shooting 29.8grs of BLC-2 in Sellier & Bellot brass with a Federal 205 primer. One thing I have noticed is there is quite a pronounced muzzle flash with this load, but I have seen this with ball powders in short barrels before, nothing to get too concerned about.

Haven't chronographed these loads yet, will do so next time at the range.

Regards,

Michael.
