.Howa 1500 and 40 grain bullets?

No mystery at all, LeeC, they are using Ballistic Tips. Winchester is in deep cahoots with Nosler, those are Combined Technology bullets, so it's certainly a Ballistic Tip. It's a darned good bullet, too, my rifles LOVE them. I wish they were more "popularly priced" though, as $19/100 is sorta steep for 32 grains of lead, plastic and copper .
