I would guess it might make a pretty good sized hole on exit. I have only shot the 52 grn hammer hunter and they open a good sized exit hole, but I don't worry about that, as I am not a saver of pelts. Just eliminate the cause of a lot of young game animals and birds being eaten by them. :D

In the past, a number of our members were reporting that the 35 gr. Bergers were fur friendly on coyotes. Might be worth a try.

I was only able to get 1" groups with the Sierra 39 gr. in my 700 Rem. I got 3/4" with 40 gr. V-max but with 32 gr. Nosler Varmageddons I got a .169 group. Using BLC(2) with all of them. Also, I have seen two splashes with Sierra 39's, one on a badger and one on a coyote. Neither one was recovered. Just my experience.
