I'm not the only newbie having fun
t]
So are my kids! My son (age eight) is really a nerd/geek at heart, is great at math has really good fine motor skills and loves coming out to help Dad at the bench. With my supervision of each powder throw and any other measurement he basically loaded all of the rounds. A load I'd found the previous week for Mom's aka "The Boss" .243 with 100 grain Hornady Interlock for deer season.
I also had to remind his sister (6 will be 7 in a month) that she liked the last time she helped at Dad's bench.
She did the seating of 55 grain varmageddon loads I'll be testing tommorow.
Man those little fingers can really get those tiny pills lined up for seating. I dont know how guys with big old sausage fingers can load the small stuff especially the 17's and even some of the nuts who like 14's.

That is great getting them involved in the shooting sports, hopefully they will continue as they grow into young adults and beyond. Even be good hunting partners, along with your wife and you.
