Anyone have a favorite powder for this bullet?
Thanks in advance.

Re: 32 gr. Nosler Varmageddon
My 204 likes 29.5 gr. of CFE223 with the Noslers. Every gun likes something different so I start with a mid range load and work up from there. My .257 Roberts likes the lower powder range but not the mid or upper.

Re: 32 gr. Nosler Varmageddon
Ok...first of all, thanks for all the responses. I have looked locally (for the CFE223) and even tried some on-line powder resources for an 8 lb. jug. No Bueno' as to availability. The Hodgdon site is even showing it "Temporarily out of Stock". I haven't reloaded for .223 in many years, so never added the CFE to my inventory. I will continue to look and grab some when I find it. I am on a couple of wait lists locally for the CFE and RL10X and am supposed to be notified when they get some in stock.
Powders I have on-hand that are listed in my manuals include...BLC(2), H335, IMR4895, H4895, Varget, H322, RL15, and IMR4198.
There is a reloading supply swap meet at the end of the month in Houston that I plan on going to which might produce some. They hold it a few times a year and in the past, some people have had powder. I have always stayed away from other peoples powder, but if there are some unopened containers for sale, it might be worth a look.
I am still waiting to get to the range and wanting to shoot up what I currently have loaded in my 204, but thought I would get some input on the Vamageddon before loading any new. Components are DEAR right now. Again, thank y'all for your input and I'll keep you up to date on some of my current loads once I get them shot up and my powder search.

Re: 32 gr. Nosler Varmageddon
You should be able to work up a good load with the 4895 powder you have. Those 32 & 39 grainers will work, more then likely, the best for you. 40 grn are a hit and miss in a lot of the 204's unless you have a 1/11 twist. Only your rifle will tell you how they work in it. Check out Hornady's Data reloading site for load info.

28.5 gr. BLC(2). Shot a .169 three shot group. It's deadly on badgers, very small entrance no exit, DRT. Turns other varmints inside out. Haven't got a chance to shoot a coyote with it.
Re: 32 gr. Nosler Varmageddon
I use imr 4895 (had it on hand) with 39 gr sierra in a t/c venure with good results. You should be able to find good loads with it. The h335 and blc-2 should work as well.
