Was able to get out this week to take down some more Central MT PDogs. Cooler and overcast with light rain showers when I arrived at first town. Shot 3 rounds with 2 kills, definitely less in this town. Moved to a new area the landowner wanted me to shoot in since he had moved his cow/calves out. A large area with 2 dog towns to shoot at, where I set up to shot was pretty much right between the two towns, most shots about 250 yards. Took awhile to get the distance as my rangefinder had a difficult time getting a distance since it was so flat and no large objects to get a accurate distance. Once I got the right distance they went down quickly. Shot in this area about 2 hours until the wind started blowing about 25 mph, so that was the end of shooting.
Picture is from 294 yards back to my truck, the old red water truck has been there a long time by looking at the cab and tires.
