Your right, some are out in places and not so in other areas. My first outing was Saturday and I did leave alot of
squeakers wishing they hadn't come out. Should be improving daily now with this warmer weather.

I just checked my in box looking for my invitation but it's not there. Maybe next time. My son and I are planning our first trip later this month if the weather holds out. Looking forward to your report. Randy

Yeah just a one day shoot, got back about 2000 last night . Squeaks were out, but not in force, we all got almost 100 though. Will post some pics after Grandson's has B ball tournament in Chico.

I'm having to move pics after editing from Windows XP to Linux which I'm using and it isn't working very well so I ended up with only one pic and it's my mug (I'm not mad) and not my brothers the other guy or any kills. We hit the fields at 0830 and shot from Bodhi's hill named after my grandson who shot here last year. Jim and I shot a few over 90, I shot the Savage 204 about 40% of the time and Jim shot his 223 about 90% the remainder I shot the CZ .17 and Jim shot his modified 10/22, and my brother only shoots his 10/22 with a 20 or 22" green mt barrel and he was at almost 40 squeaks. We'll go again within a week or so and I'll attempt to do better. posting.php?mode=reply&f=5&t=11934#

Your CZ looks like mine, 17HMR and it shoots just fine, for those shorter ranges-- up to about 150 or so. Then out comes the 20SCC or 20ai. Bill K

I went the 5th & 6th, and couch surfed in Burney at a friend's. Ground was about 50% snow covered, good Shooting the the first day but not as good the second, plus I left early, but still got a respectable total. I remember Rick's rule about posting so I won't say more my pics are so large and hard to upload, will try again. Prepping for Surprise Valley Squirrel Roundup, should be there Thursday.

brooksb: Most photo sharing sites have a function to resize photos for forum use. If you were able to get out, we'd like to see the adventure, so hopefully you'll be able to sort out the resizing thing. Your camera most likely also has a function to set to "jpg" for smaller photos for internet or sharing use also.

So Thursday, be sure to give our buddy Skippy a real "surprise" while you're at the Roundup, and remember that camera!

Brooksb: Sure hope your Surprise Valley Roundup goes well. Weather is calling for some nasty stuff into the weekend. Hopefully they will make a mistake and yes, some photo's, if possible, would be nice. Bill K
