Re: Monthly Shootout: October 2017 GET TO DA RANGE!
I realize this monthly shoot is for fun, but there really needs to be some continuity. i.e. five shots, 100 yards, 204R,
and five shots at say 50 yards for rim fire. As it is we have 25 and 50 yrd rim fire popping up. and centerfire with less than five, etc. How can this be judged sort of equally, in this manner. Just my though Jaxteller. Bill K

I thought the rules were suggested in the first post.
I did forget about Five shots at the shorter ranges though. Maybe next time? I'm just glad they all hit paper.

Looking good. Like your shooting place. Would be nice, in my area, when the snow flies and it is cold, cold out and I want to shoot some. Anyway, glad you joined into the monthly shoot. Bill K

Thanks Bill, I do spend a lot of time up in the barn, I have my woodworking tools up there and the shooting stuff. I really enjoy the monthly shootout as it keeps me busy working on new loads, this month I may try 200 or 300 yards just for a change.

From the first thread - There are some good old standards IF you want to try to be in a match up. 5 shots at 25 & 50 yards and 3 shots at 100 (or more) yds. That is only a suggestion - it is NOT a rule!!Bill K wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2017 3:53 pm I realize this monthly shoot is for fun, but there really needs to be some continuity. i.e. five shots, 100 yards, 204R,

So a suggestion. The main point of this thread is to get people out and shooting, and show off some hardware and skills.
I'll be posting November shoot out soon. If you have any suggestions - just send me a PM or reply here. I'd love to get some feedback and make this more fun!
