What bullet do you guys think is the best for foxes ?
Im using 39 grain sierras and they are quite good but I did have a couple of runners last season.
Im not concerned with hide damage, Im just looking for the best bullet to drop them on the spot.

Re: fox bullet
That bullet should work just fine, if you hit them in the shoulder/lung they should not run anywhere. Where did you hit the one's that ran off, or did you not recover to see ? Gut hits are not good for anchoring a animal that could move enough, so you can not track it down and then crawl in, hide and die. Bill K

Re: fox bullet
I didnt recover them as it was at night and they made it into cover. It could of been poor shot placement because most of the time they drop on the spot.
I just wondered if anyone had a favourite bullet for fox shooting.
