What happened? Is nothing accurate anymore?
20 years ago a guy could go buy a new 22 rifle, a carton of shells, put a scope on it, get it sighted in and go out and kill squirrels all day. Now days that doesn’t seem to be the case. I got into small caliber high-powered rifles that doesn’t seem to shoot worth a darn. I bought all the popular small calibers , 204, 20vt, 17 MACH IV,17 HMR. I bought cheap rifles and I bought expensive rifles , I bought cheap scopes and I bought expensive scopes, I bought all of the popular dies , presses , all the recommended bullets and powder. I bought so much stuff my wife accuses me of being an annex to “Sinclair”. I trimmed cases , I turned cases, I sized and re-sized. I worked up hundreds of different loads I done all the things you’re supposed to do. And here I am thousands of dollars later and still can’t get a group under 2 inches. I sent rifles back to the factories, I sent Scopes back to the manufacturers. I’ve tried it all and still nothing shoots accurate. And you know…………… at my age and having to deal with C.O.P.D. rapid heartbeat, cataracts and Parkinson’s………………. I just don’t have the patience to deal with all this stuff that you can’t hit anything with.
Maybe Santa Claus will bring me a new Cooper. I hear they are supposed to be accurate. Merry Christmas all . Hope you all have a good one. Dan

When we were in the field introducing "Skippy" to his flying lessons last 4th of July, it seems to me you were smaking them purdy good. Other than with that Mach IV. We discussed some of the headaches you were having with it, so I understand what you are talking about, with that particular rifle anyway. All I can say is best of luck in your endeavor for the accuracy we all strive for. If that Cooper comes your way, keep in mind, we all like some good gun porn, oops, I mean pictures!
By the way, I am looking forward to getting together for more time in the field, sharing what we love doing. Its almost time to get at "Skippy" again!
Merry Christmas Dan, and Merry Christmas to all the great members here on the forum!

Okay great white. I will keep your name at the top the list.
Kevin, don't take my post too seriously as I was just trying to add a little humor in their. only about 60 days to go and those little buggers will be out running around again. See you then.

Seems like there is one common denominator.
