Their scopes and rings appear to be of good quality.. Bill K

From years of experience, I'd rank Millet at the lower end of the quality spectrum in the world of optics mounts....not bad mind you, just not tip-top.

If you're interested, I've got a brand new in the box set of Leupold blue Medium 1" rings for a CZ 527, never been opened. PM me for deal-o-the-day price. ;)

The best I've found to date are from James Calhoon. His "Hunker" rings are beefy, and allow the scope a full .125" lower if wanted over regular "Medium" height rings and available in both 1" and 30mm. I've got them on my CZ 527 American in 221FB with a Lupy VX-2 4-12X 40mm, and the scope is nice 'n low over the bore for an excellent cheek weld. Tip-top in my book. :D

Thumbs down for me on the millet. For some reason, the head of the ring (not base) screws was given very little bearing surface on a set that I had, and with not much effort (no, I did not use a torque wrench but Millet did not provide a spec...) the head of at least one screw actually squeaked THROUGH the upper ring a little.

One bad experience did scare me off them

Weaver tactical for me...
