Re: Ruger 77/17 Hornet
I keep looking for a CZ or Ruger 17 Hornet rifle but non to be had in the area I live. I have a new 4-16 X AO scope, five boxes of ammo, military sling, and have ordered reloading dies and brass. I missing out on the winter shooting with a new rifle.

Re: Ruger 77/17 Hornet
Had a great run up to the desert last weekend. Ended up taking a coyote, several rabbits, and other small desert pests.
here are some pics:
Overall I am loving the 17 Hornet. It shoots really flat, is super accurate, and has very little recoil and noise.
It's a keeper.

Re: Ruger 77/17 Hornet
Keep em coming
I just located 40 boxes of ammo and scooped it up yesterday, have a CZ 527 in Ah I picked up Monday and I am supposed to get the next batch of CZ's, I ordered a Varmint as my CZ Ackley is a light contour stainless rifle. A Buckmaster 6-18 is mounted, and the HH will get a 30mm Vortex Viper.
Those Rugers sure look good, hope they shoot better than the 22 hornets have the bad reputation for groups, but I suspect on most critters those groups are just fine.

Our itty-bitty cat-sized prairie swift fox(my last pic above) are kinda coyote colored.
Gray's are sorta simular.
