So, my buddy and I walk into a shop in Anchorage looking for one more piece of gear (good windproof/waterproof outer layer for me) for our caribou hunt. I found what I was looking for and was just browsing around while my buddy was getting his tags. Lo and behold on the brass shelf was 4 bags of Winchester brass in our beloved and increasingly hard-to-find .204 Ruger! Two of them had price tags from July of 2010. Nothing is cheap in Anchorage but all four bags made it safely home with me.
Yes, we both got our caribou but I haven't had time to post pics or stories yet...
