I am new to this forum, but extremely excited to put up some pics of the ground hogs i have taken so far this year. This is my first year with the 204 and with alot of time this spring to work up some hand loads this has been my results, sorry if the pics are too gruesome, but its the gun, it shoots gernades!
All these pics were hogs taken from 200+ yards with 40gr. v-max. They are actually more accurate then the 39gr. burgers i have in this gun.

Yes T/C Venture, weight is a huge issue for me, this gun is very well made. I have alot more money in some other guns that havent proven to be as accurate. Really impessed with the 5r barrel, trigger needed alot of work after they did the recall on it. It was super easy to bed the action, alot better than all the winchesters i have. Overall very nice little gun.

Re: Ohio hogs
I remember hearing that TC was going to use a 10 twist barrel for their 204 ruger, do you know if that is in fact the case? If so that would explain why your rifle likes the 40 grain vmax so well.

My favorite way to see a 'hog!
Good shooting, and thanks for the pics!!
What bullet are you using? That's pretty serious splattage

Very nice!! dont shoot all those little ones bcuz you wont have any targets for next year!!
It's hard to detect good luck, It looks so much like something you've worked hard for and earned.
