Re: Field report Anyone
I have finally had mine arrive and am working loads in the 20VT and 204R. So far they are working very well. I like them and believe they will replace one or two other bullets. The loads I am playing with, so far, are holding them all under 3/4 inch at 100, will get better. They do a good job on rabbits and ground squirrels, also. Bill K

Re: Field report Anyone
The 20 caliber Varmageddon tipped bullets just hit the market in the last few weeks. We have them in stock for anyone that's interested.

Re: Field report Anyone
This was the tipped ones. I want to stick with them. I did try one box of the hp's, they were fine, but I like the tipped bullets. Bill KinKYfromSD wrote:Bill K / LeeLoader - are you shooting the tipped or the hollow points?

Re: Field report Anyone
Tried the (.224 )40 grainers on Sage Rats and they are as good as Vmax. Once I get rid of my bulk Z-max and have to switch back to regular-priced V-max I will switch over to the Noslers since they are cheaper.

Re: Field report Anyone
That is probably what I will do also. They are doing as well or better than the v-max/z-max and are less money than the v-max and other simular style (tipped). CRT and Midsouth have them from about the same price. CRT's flat rate shipping is good. Bill KBodei wrote:Tried the (.224 )40 grainers on Sage Rats and they are as good as Vmax.
