I don't think the GB rifle is going away any time soon. It's priced a tad bit, eh, optimistically.

For a Jackson with the extras, that's not really a bad price. Call a dealer and see what they go for new.

I found a brand new one from an authorized dealer for less than $1,700 after 30 seconds of Google time. To me, the marginal price difference makes the GB rifle (with two stock dings) poorly priced. I'm not trying to win or say your point isn't valid. I am just saying that from my personal perspective the gun is overpriced. Someone else might find it a good buy and I have no problem with that either. VarTarg - if you like grey laminated, there's a .204 at Cabelas in Wheeling for $1499. Whittaker's in Owensboro, KY has a .204 M21 Varminter for $1539.
