Wow-Easy to see how it's so long now. That's quite a void, and no doubt what gives it the "grenade" part of it's name.

Thanks, Dan.

Yup, pretty devastating bullet. Turns crows into a feather cloud.

Hey what part of Oz are you in? I have a cousin turned Aussie living in Mildura.

Just loaded a few VGs with ARBM2 (Benchmark) and AR2219 (RE-10X) to start development. Will try them tomorrow. Looking forward to some feather clouds :D

Your cousin would be about 700km from me, kinda Northeast from here. I'm near Port Lincoln - well known for Tuna and Great Whites. Very nice part of the world.

Dan,

Had I known you were going to try them so soon, I'd have mentioned this; Try to hit in the breast where the feathers are least dense. Believe it or not, those wing feathers are capable of deflecting a low angle shot. It's like hitting a hard object and getting a splash shot.

Ok on the location. Sounds like a nice place to stay out of the water!

Thanks Ray. :)

Yup, love the 204!

I'm going to prep a Hornady case next. I did a rough cut on one and it seems to have thicker walls that the Win case in the pic.

I won't be using them on crows just yet - gotta sort out an accurate load 1st. My brother's coming out to check his 22-250 loads before he uses them on a stag, so I'll get on the bench between his shots.

I love the water, but I definitely feel better about working ON a big boat and not in the water. My little bro works as a diver around the tuna farms, and he's had some pretty wild stories this season. I'll stay on deck - outta the big fishes home ground advantage.
