Rifle is tight, and an almost perfect example of these neat older Ruger Tang Safety models:
A good friend owned this rifle for 25 years, purchased new here in 1980, fired one box of factory rounds through it one day, then stored it in a closet until I purchased it around 2005 and did the work on it. It had exactly 20 rounds through it
, and came with the original box of empties. It shoots in the high .3's - mid .4's with a Nosler 55gr BT over 38.0gr RL-15, right at 3,660 fps. Great in the wind for PD's and LR chucks.
