Darrel Holland scope level.

Post by 247sniper »

Got my new Darrel Holland scope level today and set it up tonight on the .204. Some might say its not needed but I feel a lot better knowing everything is square and inline. I took it out tonight and tried it, shocked to find surprisingly how far you can be canting the rifle and not know about it! (when you thought you were level)
Just thought I'd share my experience and photos with you guys.

247sniper--I really like to have scope levels on my scopes. Like you mentioned, it is amazing how far off of level you can be when you think you are holding the rifle level.

Is your side focus knob in the way so that you have a problem seeing the bubble or does it sit high enough so that isn't a problem? I have the Sinclair offset scope levels on mine and I mount them on the shooter side of the windage, elevation and side focus knobs. That way I don't get any interference in viewing the bubble because the knobs are not in my way.
