Ruger Mark 77 MKII .204
Anyone have any input on Rugers Mark 77 MKII in 204.....? Got a chance to get one with 10 rounds down the tube for a good price...Haven't heard much (anything) about this weapon....any help appreciated......Thanks.....Paul

I've got a 77 MKII heavy barrel that's real shooter.....bought it when they first came out....great value for the $$. Is the one you're talking about one of these? It's the target, varmint format....gray barrel and action.
I wouldn't hesitiate....and I expect some more folks will chime in shortly with similar experiences....

after bedding and a trigger job mine shoots as well as my cooper

My 223 is stock standard with a cheap tasco scope on it. I can get 1/4 to 1/2 inch groups at 100 all day. I have heard that some dont shoot we'll but mine does. If the price is right I say go for it
