+1 on what Tokimini said!
Also, I just bought some CFE223 and hope to have good results with it for my .204's, along with the .17 Remington.

I thought that wasn't going to be out until February. Please keep us posted on your results. I'm very interested in seeing what this powder's performance is.Vartarg wrote:+1 on what Tokimini said!

I'm very happy with Benchmark in my .223 and .204. Cleans up very easily so far?

Re: different pwder
Benchmark2(ADI) = Hodgdon Benchmark
I'm an amateur shooter, never tried other powders either, but I've had a few 5 shot groups under .75moa (factory rifle) without messing with seating depth. Didn't standardize any cases either (trim, primer pocket/flash hole uniform) but have now - no tests yet.
Don't clean my barrel too often and comes up shiny when I do

Wild Willie,
What is your charge of R-10X with the 39's?, mine is 25.4 and it burns clean for the bolts and AR-15 also.
I have shot lots of 32's and 39's without any buildup. My bottles are all dated 01-2010 or newer.. They did have
"Gunk" issues with early batches and recalled some. The thing I like about Alliant/Reloader powder is the Date on the bottle with lot#'s.

Re: different pwder
Of course the old link is now broken. The powder was not dangerous just left a "gunk" in the barrel. from 2007.
